Florida Drone Replacement Program for Public Safety & First Responders

DRONE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM - FDLE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Over the last 18 months, the State of Florida has undergone massive changes that affects what drones public safety and first responders use on a daily basis to keep the public safe. Prior to the changes of April 2022, Florida public safety officials were able to use any type of drone available on the market without any issues. The State of Florida passed Rule 60GG-2.0075 and outlined what the new regulations and what drone types and technologies can be used, and what countries that the drones can be manufactured in.

Many departments, small and large, did not have the budget to replace their drone fleet to fall within the new law and guidelines. FDLE now has a program that will provide financial assistance to departments and agencies to help offset the cost of new equipment.

Florida Drone Supply has studied the application for these funds and we are prepared and ready to help facilitate the process of the application process, the new equipment estimating and costing, as well as providing the equipment once the funds are received.

The State of Florida has set aside $25,000,000 for this program and Florida Drone Supply is ready to stand by your side and help get you through this process.

As outlined in the agreement, FDLE will provide reimbursement from 10% to 100% of the purchase price of the original equipment, depending on the flight hours on the equipment.

Florida Drone Supply is a proud supporter and supplier of countless agencies across the State of Florida and we sell, train, and support approved Florida drones from; Parrot, Teledyne FLIR, Inspired Flight, TEAL, and more.
