Autel Evo Max 4T - Firmware Update 1.6.0.71

The newest firmware from Autel is here and it is packed with some great new features and updates. You can update your firmware by powering on the drone and remote, navigate to the settings page, click the about screen, and click where it says firmware. Make sure you are connected to wifi and the screen will prompt you to install the new update.

This is a larger update so make sure your remote and aircraft are powered up above 50% battery level. Once the update is complete you will see an update success message and you will need to restart the aircraft and controller. One of the major features that us and all of you have been waiting for is mapping missions. Well, it’s finally here and ready for you. You have the option for rectangular missions and polygon missions.

Our next video will cover how to set up your mapping missions and get your settings dialed in so stay tuned for that in the next day or two.

Autel has also made it where the already amazing camera is now capable of producing 50 megapixel photos. This now takes it to the highest megapixel of any enterprise drone out there with standard camera payloads.

Keeping you in the air and on mission is top priority, now, you can hot swap the batteries. This is an option that you have to turn on after the update. Navigate to settings, battery, and scroll to the bottom where you will see the hot swap feature. Turn that on and you will be ready to go.

The ever popular Remote ID is now pushed with this update. The 4T is ready to go for the September 16th deadline.

An important note about updating the Autel 4T. If you are 4 versions behind on updates, you will have to do 4 individual updates. It won’t jump from the oldest to the newest, you have to update in order.
