The ACSL SOTEN Starter Bundle is a complete, mission-ready package designed for professionals who need a secure, versatile drone system out of the box. Built around the NDAA-compliant SOTEN aircraft, this bundle supports a wide range of use cases including public safety, search and rescue, AEC, infrastructure inspection, surveying, and environmental monitoring. The Starter Bundle includes the SOTEN drone, the standard 20MP 1” sensor payload with a mechanical shutter, the TENSO Smart Controller, 2 intelligent batteries, and two sets of propellers to keep operations moving in the field. For transport and protection, the system is housed in a GPC hard case, making it easy to deploy across job sites and emergency response scenarios. Together, these components deliver a reliable, scalable aerial solution ready for real-world operations from day one.

Compact, Mission-Ready Design
The ACSL SOTEN is engineered for operators who need a compact, highly portable drone that can deploy quickly in the field. With a maximum takeoff weight around 4.4 lbs and a foldable airframe, SOTEN is easy to transport and can be airborne in under a minute, making it ideal for time-sensitive public safety, inspection, and enterprise missions.
Swappable Payload System with Four Options
At the core of SOTEN’s versatility is its one-touch swappable payload system, allowing operators to rapidly change sensors when out in the field. SOTEN supports four payload options, enabling a single platform to adapt to inspection, public safety, survey, and thermal applications—eliminating the need for multiple drones. Obstacle Awareness & Operational Safety
SOTEN is equipped with multi-directional obstacle sensors, combining stereo cameras and infrared sensors positioned on the front, top, and bottom of the aircraft. These sensors enhance situational awareness, helping pilots safely navigate complex environments such as infrastructure, industrial facilities, and confined spaces.

Designed and manufactured in Japan, SOTEN incorporates ISO 15408–grade security measures that protect communications, flight data, and imagery from unauthorized access or interference. SOTEN’s software suite supports efficient mission planning, stable flight control, and scalable operations. With LTE connectivity, operators can enable extended-range and BVLOS-ready workflows, supporting operations in remote areas, complex sites, and large geographic regions. The platform also allows up to three controllers to connect to a single aircraft, enabling team-based operations and seamless handoffs to maintain line of sight.
Rugged and Advanced Smart Controller
Designed with usability as a top priority, the ACSL TENSO Smart Controller features a clean, simple, and easily understandable user interface that supports efficient operation in high-pressure environments. Its 5″ display offers 1080p resolution and up to 1000 nits of brightness, ensuring clear visibility even in direct sunlight. Operating at 2.4 GHz with a maximum range of up to 2.5 miles and support for Wi-Fi and LTE, TENSO delivers reliable, extended connectivity in the field. For collaborative missions, up to three standard and smart controllers, including TENSO, can be connected to a single SOTEN aircraft simultaneously, enabling seamless handoffs and team-based operations.
